So far away from it all Singing in gossamer chordings Dancing with succulent colors Forever tearing away these heavy chains Of mundaneism Dripping fiery wrath and ludicrous cries Laughing for the hell of it without wondering why

I can view the sun rising I can view the sun set Can I heal the love sliding From my fingertips
After all is said and done And now that the smokes clear Can I still be the one Who has nothing to fear

Strider strides along an empty roadside as the sun slowly sinks towards the horizon, turning the skyline soft shades of pink and lavender. He reaches into the pack strapped upon his back and draws out a cigarette, taking an old brass zippo out from the front jean pocket with the other hand. The cigarette flares to life in a puff of blue smoke rolling away lazily into the breeze. The wind blows his black close cropped hair into deep introspective eyes the color of honey. The laugh lines around his mouth crinkle as he half grins, the high cheekbones standing out
